HOPE COLLEGE: Women’s Indoor Track and Field Runners Earn All-America Honors

Award

Hope College issued the following announcement on May 20.

Hope College’s Anna Frazee and Ana Tucker have received All-America honors in NCAA Division III indoor track and field from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association

They were among 675 student-athletes recognized after qualifying for the NCAA indoor championships in March that were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Frazee and Tucker are Hope’s first All-Americans in indoor track and field. Both qualified for nationals in the 3,000-meter run.

Tucker was seeded ninth. The freshman from Midland, Michigan (H.H. Dow HS) made it to nationals after clocking a meet-record time of 9 minutes, 54.64 seconds at the Wartburg University (Iowa) last-chance meet.

Frazee was seeded 19th. The senior from Watervliet, Michigan (Watervliet) also posted her qualifying time at Wartburg, at 10:00.45.
