City of Allegan recently issued the following announcement.
July 3 Jubilee 2020 Canceled
Due to the continued spread of COVID-19, and in consultation with the Allegan County Health Department and local law enforcement, the annual July 3 Jubilee Independence Day celebration scheduled to be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 has been canceled.
This year, the City of Allegan encourages residents to celebrate Independence Day independent of large gatherings.

When handling your own pyrotechnics, please practice extreme safety for yourself and for others. Remember to be courteous of neighbors who may be elderly or veterans of the military, as well as pets. Consider those who may find fireworks upsetting by alerting them before your display and by not setting fireworks off late at night or in close proximity to their homes.
