ASPIRUS IRONWOOD HOSPITAL: Public Health advisory due to armful bloom of Blue-Green Algae in U.P.

Aspirus Ironwood Hospital issued the following announcement on July 2

The Western Upper Peninsula Health Department has issued a recreational Public Health advisory for Portage Lake, Portage Canal, and Torch Lake in Houghton County, due to a potentially harmful bloom of Blue-Green Algae.

Aspirus wants you and your family to have a fun and safe summer, so we want you to be aware of this advisory.
