City of Grandville recently issued the following announcement.
Join us this Saturday morning at the Annual Buck Creek Clean Up and you'll see what a substantial and positive impact a group of purposeful volunteers can make in just a few short hours!
Volunteers will gather at 8:30 am at Lemery park heading out to one of several pre-determined clean up sites to clear trash and debris from the river. Afterwards, we'll gather for a free lunch at Wedgewood Park provided by Mayor Steve Maas.
We encourage volunteers to pre-register at our website, but walk-ins are welcome.

This event is sponsored by the Schrems West Michigan chapter of Trout Unlimited and Friends of Buck Creek who are working together to ensure that Buck Creek remains clean and healthy for years to come.
