City of Ferrysburg issued the following announcement on Sept 8.
In honor of our 50th anniversary, we’re focusing on our priority area of economic & community development by kicking off a round of Community Choice Grants specifically for local municipalities! The Grand Haven Area Community Foundation is granting a total of $50,000 to local municipalities through $50K Community Choice Grants to make seven community projects possible.
Each week we will feature one municipality and the projects they’ve submitted. You as a community member will vote on your favorite projects by liking the post – the project with the most likes will be awarded the grant money! Only votes on the GHACF Facebook page will be counted.
The winning projects will become reminders of the first 50 years of impact made by the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation, and inspiration for what we can accomplish together in the next 50 years and beyond.
