City of Brighton recently issued the following announcement.
Simple Recycling is Back in the City of Brighton!!!
Simple Recycling has restarted their collection services for City of Brighton Residents; however, the program has changed slightly. Instead of placing bags out at the curb on your regular pick up day, they are now providing scheduled porch pick up services.
Please visit their website at www.simplerecycling.com and select “Michigan” from the drop down menu under “SCHEDULE A FREE PICKUP” and select “Get Started”. You will then select your location, select a pick up date and then provide further details.
Simple Recycling provides collection and recycling of clothing and small household items at no cost to the resident or municipality. This textile recycling program is offered in addition to your residential waste and recycling services. Click this link to View a List of Acceptable Items.
Where Can I Get More Bags?
You can always request more bags through Simple Recycling. Bags will be mailed directly to your home.
You can also pick up a bag from a Bag Station set up in the lobby at Brighton City Hall and at the Brighton Department of Public Works building.
