City of Hudsonville issued the following announcement on Sept 29.
Attention Ward 2 city residents! The City is currently seeking applications from Ward 2 residents who are interested in being appointed to and serving on the Hudsonville City Commission. Commissioner Greg Steigenga recently submitted his resignation letter (see below), and the city must now appoint a resident from Ward 2 (see map below) to fulfill the remainder of Mr. Steigenga’s term (until 11/23).
Interested residents are required complete an application form and submit it to the city no later than October 20th. The City Commission will make the appointment on October 26th after a thorough screening and selection process. The application form can be found on the city’s website at www.hudsonville.org, or picked up at City Hall. For more information please contact the City at 616-669-0200.
