Brighton's General Election on November 2

City of Brighton recently issued the following announcement.

The City of Brighton's General Election is November 2, 2021! If you would like to view the candidate forum, register to vote, obtain an absentee ballot, or vote in the precincts on Election Day, follow the helpful links below in the comments. If you have an absentee ballot, please be sure to return it to City Hall before 8pm on Election Day.

This non-partisan election is held every two years and will determine the next four Councilmembers who will serve for four years (lowest vote getter serves two years). The following Monday after the election, City Council will have its biennial meeting to swear in the new Councilmembers and elect its Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem.
