Grand Haven Department of Public Safety issued the following announcement on Nov 21.
Firefighters Crusade for Toys! Roof Sit - Saturday, December 4, 2021 from Noon-5pm at 525 Washington. Firefighters will be on the roof, WAWL will broadcast from noon-2pm. Visitors are encouraged to stop by with toy or monetary donations.
Firefighters Crusade for Toys is a partnership between the American Legion Post #28 Goodfellows Program, the Salvation Army, and Grand Haven Department of Public Safety.
For over 70 years, the American Legion Post #28 Goodfellows program has worked to make sure that the needy children of the Tri-Cities area have a good Christmas. The program furnishes each child with new clothes, along with toys, games and candy.
Every bit helps! All donations raised stay in the Tri-Cities area
