City of Grand Haven issued the following announcement on Dec 7.
At the direction of the City Council, we published a Request for Proposals to redevelop a 3.4-acre piece of property in the location of the former Chinook Pier shops. The redevelopment of this City-owned property was a key feature of the Beyond the Pier Waterfront Master Plan. After a robust advertising and outreach process, we received one proposal from a team comprised of Abonmarche, Architektura PLC, Geerlings Development Co, and Midwest Construction Group Inc. The development team will formally present their proposal on December 20th during the City Council work session.
