City of Howell issued the following announcement on Dec 21.
Well wishes for our longtime Finance Director/Treasurer Catherine Stanislawski, who will be retiring at the end of this year!
Catherine was hired by the City of Howell as an accountant in 2004, was appointed City Treasurer in 2005, and appointed Finance Director/Treasurer in 2007. With her exceptional work ethic and ability to administer sound investment strategies, the never-ending financial reports, budget preparations, year-end adjustments and annual audit were always carried out on time and without error. Thanks to Catherine and her team’s consistent, hard work, the City’s credit rating increased, and the City has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association for 14 consecutive years.
Thank you so much Catherine for over 17 years of dedicated, thorough, and financially sound service to the City of Howell. Happy Retirement – enjoy!
