Grand Haven Department of Public Safety recently issued the following announcement.
Heavy Snowfall Tonight - Early Thursday
•Light rain is likely for a few hours Tuesday before snow begins. A glaze of light freezing rain is possible, overall risk for freezing rain is low.
•Snow begins late Tuesday evening and will continue through early Thursday
•Heaviest snow expected near and south of I-94/I-69 with lesser amounts north of I-96
•Travel will become hazardous beginning Tuesday evening and continuing through at least early Thursday
•Significant blowing/drifting snow is not expected with this storm
