State Farm Neighborhood Assist Grant Pprogram

Grant

Grand Haven Department of Public Safety issued the following announcement on Feb 17.

Given the popularity of Grand Haven beaches, the need to speed up the response rate and reduce the amount of panic in a victim never stops. Having a flotation device, dropped by a drone, provides an improvement in first responder services to our community and our visitors. Today, GHDPS submitted "FLY, DROP, FLOAT" for consideration under the State Farm Neighborhood Assist grant program.

State Farm will notify the top 200 finalists during the week of April 18. Once the finalists have been selected, the public will vote for the top 100 causes to be awarded $25,000 grants.
