The City of Wayland is taking applications to fill an unexpired term on the City Council (until November 2023). Member of the City Council shall be a resident of the City for not less than one year and shall be a registered voter.
Council meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month as well as some intermittent special or committee meetings throughout the year. Interested parties should file a Board and Commissions Application which an be found online at www.cityofwayland.org. Applications are also to be submitted with a letter of interest and a resume to the City Clerk, 103 South Main Street, Wayland, Michigan 49348 and/or email to lclausen@cityofwayland.org no later than noon on August 12, 2022. Interviews will be held at the August 15th City Council meeting.
