The City of Hudsonville is honored to introduce our new Fire Chief, Steven Essenburg. Steve has worked within the Hudsonville Fire Department for 33 years, 20 of which he has served as our Deputy Fire Chief.
Steve has a passion for serving the community and keeping it a safe place for all who call Hudsonville home. Under his leadership with the department, Steve has been asked to step into the Chief role on an interim basis multiple times. He’s risen to the occasion each time. City officials and staff are confident that Steve will continue to excel in this new role.
