The Cooper Koalas are having a magical month of celebrating Reading Month with lots of fun mystery readers. Some highlights include:

Mr. Charlie Wynne reading to Ms. Hunter's second grade class. Mr. Wynne did a phenomenal job reading A Bad Case of Stripes. He brought the book to life with a lot of great expression.

Mr. Kirk Mason from News Channel 3 ready to Mrs. Schipper's 3rd grade class. The kids loved listening to him read and asking questions about his life on television. Mr. Mason even took time to sign autographs.

Ms. Jan Rose, owner of Four Roses Cafe, read to Ms. Porte's 2nd grade class. The little Koalas loved hearing her read.

Students in Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Kessler's classes had a special visit from Barb Bechtal, owner of Barbed Wire Café. Ms. Bechtal got into character to read the book The Cat in the Hat to both classes.  She did such an amazing job reading with great expression to the students.

Mrs. Tasia Stamos (Principal) and Mr. Ben Manting (Assistant Principal) from the Middle School read to the 5th graders from Cooper Elementary.

We greatly appreciate the support from each of our mystery readers throughout the district. We look forward to sharing more highlights throughout the month.
