The GVSU men's golf team ascended two positions on the second day of the Folds of Honor Challenge, concluding the day in third place. With one round remaining, the Lakers are seven strokes behind the leaders.

Aurora University continues to lead with a score of six over par, having shot +5 for the day. Mississippi Gulf Coast holds second place at +11, closely followed by GVSU at +13. The Lakers shot even par today, gaining five strokes on Aurora and advancing to third place. Illinois Wesleyan is in fourth at +16, while West Texas A&M is fifth with a score of twenty-four over par.

Drew Coble has moved up to second overall after his round of 68 (-3), making four birdies and sitting at -2 overall, four strokes behind the leader. Manuel Cue Vargas is ninth at four over par after a round of 70 (-1), which included five birdies and saw him jump ten spots. Charlie Cooley follows closely in 10th place at +5, carding a round of 71 (E) with four birdies. Andrew Gwilliams is in 13th place at six over par following his round of 75 (+4). Jan Eckhard finished tied for 24th at +10 after shooting a round of 75 with three birdies. Bryce Wheeler is tied for 28th at +12 with two birdies in his round of 75. Murphy Kehoe is tied for 30th at +13 after shooting a round of 75 that included two birdies.
