The Grand Valley State University (GVSU) women's golf team is set to begin their spring season in Florida at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational. The event will take place at the Palm Aires Champions Course in Sarasota, Florida, with the team playing 54 holes over Sunday and Monday.

GVSU stands out as the only Division II school participating in a field dominated by Division I teams, with 12 of the other 14 teams ranked among the top-75 in the latest Division I rankings. The Lakers themselves hold a position in the Division II rankings at number 21.

During their fall season, GVSU achieved notable success, securing victories at both the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite and the Lady Bulldog Invitational. They also finished within the top five at the William Beall Fall Classic.

On an individual level, Olivia Stoll has been impressive, ranking 16th individually after achieving three top-three finishes, including one win during the fall season. Her teammates Julia Sanchez, Megan Miron, and Rachael Krieger are also ranked within the top 200.

The lineup for GVSU includes Olivia Stoll, Julia Sanchez, Megan Miron, Rachael Krieger, and Paula Badino.
