The Grand Valley State University (GVSU) women's golf team is set to compete in the NCAA Tournament, traveling to Indianapolis for the East Regional Championships. The event will take place at the Prairie View Golf Course from Monday through Wednesday.

The Lakers secured their spot in the tournament by winning the GLIAC Tournament two weeks ago. They enter as the 22nd ranked team nationally, making them the third highest ranked team in this regional competition. Findlay holds the top spot in this field, ranking fourth nationally, followed by UIndy at seventh. No other teams in this regional are within the top 25.

Representing GVSU will be Olivia Stoll, Julia Sanchez, Paula Badino, Megan Miron, and Rachael Krieger. This group has been consistent throughout the season and led their team to victory at the GLIAC title. Stoll and Sanchez notably finished first and second in stroke play during that tournament before all five players won their matchups against Davenport in match play.

In last year's regionals, GVSU finished third, which earned them a place in the NCAA Championships for a seventh consecutive year.
