GVSU head coach Mike Williams was honored as GLIAC Coach of the Year for a fourth time after leading his team to a 27-2 record with a 17-1 mark in conference play. Under his guidance, the Lakers secured their third consecutive regular season title and achieved a number two national ranking along with being top-seeded in the Midwest Region.
