GVSU vs Ferris State women's basketball game to air live on WXSP-TV

Grand Valley State University, in collaboration with WXSP-TV and the NCAA, has announced that the NCAA Division II women's basketball Midwest Regional Championship game will be broadcast live. The matchup between Grand Valley State and Ferris State is scheduled for Monday, March 18, at 7:05 p.m. It will be available on WXSP-TV channel 15 in the Grand Rapids area, although the channel number may differ for cable or satellite subscribers.

The game will take place at GVSU Fieldhouse Arena, where Grand Valley State holds the top seed position. Tickets can be purchased online at gvsutickets.com or by contacting the GVSU Athletics general ticket office at (616) 331-3200. Fans are advised to buy tickets early on Monday morning to secure their seats. Additionally, HUDL, the video provider for the NCAA, will stream the game live.

Grand Valley State enters this contest as the #1 seed with a record of 31-2 overall and is a three-time defending GLIAC Champion. They recently achieved victories over Trevecca Nazarene with a score of 63-35 in their opening round and Northern Michigan with a score of 72-44 in a semifinal match.

Ferris State holds the #3 seed with an overall record of 24-5 this season. They secured a win against Lewis with a score of 75-53 in their opening round and defeated #2-seeded Ashland by a score of 64-59 in their semifinal encounter.

The winner of this Sweet Sixteen matchup will move forward to compete in the Elite Eight held in St. Joseph, Missouri at the St. Joseph Civic Center from March 25 to March 29.
