The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has published the Division II Men's and Women's regional singles and doubles rankings. The Laker men's and women's teams had players featured in the Midwest Region for both singles and doubles categories.
In women's singles, three Laker athletes made it to the top 20 in the Midwest region. Senior Vasileia Griva secured the No. 10 spot following a straight-set victory over Aquinas at the No. 1 position, progressing to the round of 16 in this fall's ITA regional championships. Sophomore Anna Soteras achieved a ranking of No. 12 after reaching the round of 16 in the top singles bracket at the ITA regional championships and securing two wins at this fall's DU Invitational. Senior Taylor Barrett was placed at No. 19, having earned two victories at the DU Invitational along with a win in the top singles bracket at the ITA regional championships.
In women's doubles, Estefania Hernandez and Rachel Sam were recognized as the No. 4 best doubles pair in their region after achieving four consecutive wins that took them to the ITA regional championship in the top doubles bracket.
On the men's side, senior Sean Miller was ranked No. 6 in singles within his region after winning four matches in the top singles bracket at the ITA regional championships to reach semifinals, alongside one victory at GVSU Invite and a straight-set win from No. 1 singles against Aquinas. Junior Lucas Gonzalez was ranked No. 17 following his appearance in round of 16 during ITA regional championships' top singles bracket and two straight-set victories at GVSU Invite this fall.
For men's doubles, Freddy Cossio and Lucas Gonzalez were positioned as No. 9 regionally after advancing to quarterfinals during ITA regional championships' top doubles bracket.
