Already recognized as the GLIAC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, Rylie Bisballe has now been named to the CCA First-Team All-Midwest Region. The junior forward from Lake City demonstrated strong performance throughout the season, averaging 13.4 points per game and scoring in double figures 24 times, with five games surpassing 20 points.
Bisballe, a member of the First-Team All-GLIAC, recorded four double-doubles this season and ranked fourth in her conference with an average of 7.2 rebounds per game. Her shooting stats include 51.7% from the floor, 33% from three-point range, and 76% from free throws. During league play, she improved her performance further by averaging 16.2 points and maintaining her rebound average.
She reached a career milestone by surpassing 1,000 career points during a personal best performance of 28 points against Northern Michigan—a game that was pivotal for securing the Lakers' third consecutive regular season GLIAC Title.
On defense, Bisballe contributed significantly to her team's success by recording 37 steals and blocking 30 shots over the season. Her efforts were instrumental in helping maintain one of the nation's top defenses; opponents averaged only 49.9 points against them.
The Lakers are set to compete next against Trevecca Nazarene in the NCAA Midwest Regional quarterfinal round at 5:00 PM tomorrow evening.
