Grand Valley State University (GVSU) is set to host the University of Findlay in a wrestling dual meet on Thursday, February 8 at 7 p.m. The event will take place at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena and will also serve as Senior Night for the Lakers. This match marks the final home dual meet of the season for GVSU, which currently holds an 11-6 record. Their opponents, Findlay, come into the competition with a 3-8 record.

Both teams are coming off recent matches. GVSU recently participated in the Greyhound Duals, where they recorded a 1-2 mark against #9 McKendree and #9 Indianapolis. Meanwhile, Findlay narrowly lost to #19 Ashland with a score of 23-21 on Sunday.

The match will be streamed live on Flowrestling, featuring Steve Lloyd-Jones providing play-by-play commentary and Jake Short offering color commentary.

GVSU has faced one of the most challenging schedules this season, having competed against eight of the top 23 teams in their dual meets. Following this event, GVSU will conclude their regular season at the Ashland Duals on Sunday against #19 Ashland and #23 Glenville State.

- At 125 lbs: Aaron Lucio or Luca Conflitti from GVSU against either Graham Shore or Caleb Schroer from Findlay.

- At 133 lbs: Collin Twigg (GVSU) versus Gavin Ritter (Findlay).

- At 141 lbs: Jak Keller (GVSU) versus Alex Epstein (Findlay).

- At 149 lbs: Chris Donathan (GVSU), ranked fourth nationally, faces Mason Kleinberg (Findlay).

- At 157 lbs: Caden Jacobs (GVSU) takes on Cade Cass (Findlay).

- At 165 lbs: Trammel Robinson (GVSU) competes against Gary Nilson (Findlay).

- At 174 lbs: Josh Kenny (GVSU), ranked second nationally, meets Andrew Knick (Findlay).

- At 184 lbs: Seth Konynenbelt (GVSU) goes up against Steele Boysel (Findlay).

- At 197 lbs: Wyatt Miller (GVSU), ranked ninth nationally, challenges Vaughn Petty (Findlay).

- In heavyweight class: Owen Hawley from GVSU faces Guilian Bodiu from Findlay.
