Grand Valley State advances four wrestlers to NCAA championships

Grand Valley State University (GVSU) secured a fourth-place finish in the NCAA Super Region team standings, accumulating 97.5 points. This achievement has propelled four of its wrestlers to the NCAA Wrestling Championships scheduled for March 15-16 in Wichita, Kansas.

Sophomore Josh Kenny emerged victorious in the 174-pound category, clinching the NCAA Super Region 3 title. Chris Donathan achieved a second-place finish in the 149-pound class. Seth Konynenbelt and Wyatt Miller secured third place in their respective weight classes of 184 pounds and 197 pounds.

Additionally, Collin Twigg finished fourth in the 133-pound category, Trammel Robinson also took fourth place at 165 pounds, and Caden Jacobs placed fifth in the 157-pound division.
