After winning his second consecutive tournament at the start of the spring season, GVSU senior Drew Coble has been recognized as the GLIAC Golfer of the Week once more.
Coble achieved first place at the Ralph Hargett Memorial by posting scores of 67, 70, and 68, finishing at -11. His total score of 205 established a new low for the tournament. Throughout the three rounds, he recorded 14 birdies and one eagle. Coble's performance also contributed to the Lakers' team victory, with a collective score of -20 that set a new event record of 844.
The Lakers are scheduled to compete in the Tennessee River Rumble next Monday and Tuesday in Lenoir City, Tennessee.
