The Grand Valley State men's tennis team secured a victory against Biola with a 4-3 scoreline on Tuesday night in La Mirada, California. This win improves the Lakers' season record to 7-4.

The doubles matches set the tone for GVSU's success. Sean Miller and Freddy Cossio achieved a 6-2 victory at the top doubles position, while Chimo Minguez and Jorge Ruiz followed suit with a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles.

In singles play, Denys Zamaraiev overcame his opponent with a hard-fought three-set match, finishing 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 at the top singles spot. Chimo Minguez delivered a straightforward win at No. 6 singles with scores of 6-1, 6-2. Lucas Gonzalez contributed to the team's triumph by securing a victory through retirement at No. 4 singles after leading 6-2, 3-2.

Looking ahead, the Lakers will conclude their California tour on Thursday when they face Concordia Irvine. The match is scheduled to begin at noon Eastern Time.
