The GVSU men's golf team secured a victory at the Ralph Hargett Memorial, marking their second consecutive win of the spring season. The team finished 15 strokes ahead of Tusculum, who took second place. Wingate followed in third place with one over par, while Belmont Abbey and Hillsdale placed fourth and fifth respectively.

In the final round, the Lakers increased their lead from 11 to 15 strokes by shooting a round of 284 (-4), finishing at -20 overall. Drew Coble led the individual standings with a final round score of 68 (-4), securing his second straight individual title at eleven under par. Manuel Cue Vargas ended in third place with a total score of -7 after shooting a 69 (-3) in the final round. Nick Krueger tied for fifth, completing the event with a score of one under after carding four birdies in his last round.

Bryce Wheeler tied for 11th place, finishing one over par following an even-par final round of 72. Charlie Cooley tied for 29th after scoring three over par in his last round.

Next week, GVSU will continue their southern tour by competing in the Tennessee River Rumble on Monday and Tuesday.
