The GVSU men's golf team is competing in the Tennessee River Rumble, held in Lenoir City, Tennessee. After completing the first two rounds, the Lakers find themselves in 13th place with one round remaining.
North Georgia currently leads the tournament at fourteen under par. Lincoln Memorial follows closely, three strokes behind at eleven under par. USC Aiken holds third place with a score of nine under par. Union is in fourth at four under par, while Wingate stands fifth at three over par. The Lakers have posted scores of 299 and 294 to sit at seventeen over par.
Among individual performances for GVSU, Drew Coble and Nick Krueger are tied for 26th place after both shot one over par across the first two rounds. Coble recorded rounds of 73 (+1) and 72 (E), achieving five birdies overall. Krueger made seven birdies during his rounds of 72 and 73.
Manuel Cue is tied for 54th place after carding rounds of 77 (+5) and 73 (+1), resulting in a six-over-par total with three birdies on the day.
