The Grand Valley State men's basketball team is set to conclude their regular season with a final homestand this week. The Lakers will face Ferris State on Thursday, February 22 at 8:00 PM and Lake Superior State on Saturday, February 24 at 3:00 PM.

After a five-game road trip, the Lakers return home holding fourth place in the GLIAC standings with a conference record of 7-7 and an overall record of 10-14. The team leads the GLIAC in rebounds per game, averaging 37.8. They are scoring an average of 72.4 points per game with a shooting percentage of 43.2% from the field.

Ethan Alderink is leading the Lakers in scoring, averaging 12.4 points per game and has scored in double figures in 15 of the last 16 games. Marius Grazulis contributes with an average of 10.5 points per game and ranks second in the GLIAC for rebounds, averaging 7.9 per game. William Dunn averages 10.6 points per game and leads the team with his three-point shooting accuracy.

Ferris State comes into Thursday's matchup holding third place in the GLIAC standings with a conference record of 9-5 and an overall record of 19-6. The Bulldogs lead several offensive categories within the GLIAC, including points per game (85.8) and assists (21). Ben Davidson leads Ferris State’s scoring efforts while Ethan Erickson provides significant contributions off the bench.

Lake Superior State stands second in the GLIAC standings with a conference record of 10-4 and an overall record of 18-6 as they approach this weekend's games against GVSU. They rank second in field goal percentage within the conference.
