Ferris State defeats GVSU in GLIAC Championship

The Grand Valley State men's basketball team was defeated by Ferris State in the GLIAC Championship, with a final score of 87-76. The game took place on Sunday afternoon in Marquette, Michigan.

Britain Harris led all scorers with a career-high 25 points. Harris made 11 out of 18 shots from the field, including two three-pointers, and collected four rebounds. He has scored at least 20 points in four of the last five games. Marius Grazulis contributed 12 points and eight rebounds, shooting 5-11 from the field and providing three assists. Mason Docks added 11 points and led the Lakers with five assists.

Grand Valley State shot 44% from the field and 83% from the free throw line, while Ferris State achieved a shooting percentage of 52% from the field and 74% from the free throw line. Although Ferris State outrebounded Grand Valley State 35-32, the Lakers managed to secure ten offensive rebounds compared to Ferris State's eight.

The Lakers concluded their season with an overall record of 16-15. They finished with an 11-7 conference record, placing fourth in the GLIAC standings.
