Purdue defeats Grand Valley State in final exhibition game

The Grand Valley State men's basketball team concluded their exhibition schedule with a 99-41 defeat against Purdue, ranked No. 15, on Wednesday night in West Lafayette, Indiana. The Lakers are set to begin their regular season next Friday, November 9th, when they host Walsh at 2:00 PM.

Jalen Charity was the leading scorer for the Lakers with 11 points, shooting 4-6 from the field and perfect from beyond the arc with two three-pointers. He also contributed four rebounds. Mason Docks scored ten points, while Trevon Gunter added seven.

For Purdue, Trey Kaufman-Renn achieved a double-double by scoring 15 points and securing ten rebounds with flawless shooting accuracy of 7-7. Fletcher Loyer matched him with 15 points on 4-9 shooting and provided three assists. C.J. Cox also recorded 15 points on efficient shooting of 4-7. Gicarri Harris and Myles Colvin both contributed ten points each to the team's victory.

Grand Valley State University will start its regular season at home against Walsh on November 9th at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. The match will be available for live streaming on FloSports.
