Grand Valley State ranks second in NCAA Super Region Three

The NCAA Division II football committee has released its first 2024 regional rankings, placing Grand Valley State as the number two team in Super Region Three. This region includes ten programs, with the top seven teams advancing to the NCAA Division II Football Playoffs on November 17.

Ferris State, a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), leads the rankings with an 8-1 record. Following them is Grand Valley State University (GVSU) at number two. Pittsburg State and Central Oklahoma hold the third and fourth positions, respectively. Ouachita Baptist ranks fifth, while defending National Champion Harding is sixth. Emporia State completes the top seven.

Saginaw Valley State, another GLIAC member, is ranked eighth. Indianapolis and Southern Arkansas are ninth and tenth, respectively.

Grand Valley State's next game is a GLIAC matchup against Michigan Tech on Saturday, November 9, with kickoff scheduled for noon.
