Grand Valley State University's men's and women's cross country teams have been selected to participate in the 2024 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 23, at Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, California. The men's 10k race will commence at 1 p.m. EST, followed by the women's 6k race at 2:15 p.m. EST.

The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Committee announced the participants on Monday evening, November 11. A total of 24 teams automatically qualified by securing top three positions in each of the eight regions. An additional ten teams were chosen through an at-large selection process.

Both Grand Valley State University (GVSU) men's and women's teams earned automatic qualification for nationals due to their performances at the 2024 NCAA DII Midwest Region Championships last weekend. The men secured their 22nd consecutive title with a score of 40 points overall, while the women claimed their 23rd consecutive title with a low score of 20 points.

The NCAA DII Cross Country Championships will be available for streaming on the NCAA's website, where live results and official scores will also be posted.
