The Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) has announced its 2024 All-America team, recognizing senior offensive lineman Gabe Brown and junior cornerback Devin Pringle as first-team honorees.

Gabe Brown played a crucial role on the offensive line for the Lakers, contributing significantly to a rushing game that led the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and ranked seventh nationally with an average of 247.2 yards per game. The team also surpassed 235 rushing yards in eight games. Brown demonstrated proficiency in both run and pass blocking, achieving a 96.3 efficiency rating during the regular season. He was a finalist for the 2024 Gene Upshaw Award, named the GLIAC Offensive Lineman of the Year for 2024, and earned First-Team All-GLIAC honors twice.

Devin Pringle was noted for his performance as a lockdown cornerback, which resulted in opposing teams rarely attempting passes to his side of the field. Despite this, he contributed to stopping runs directed towards him, ranking fourth on his team with 44 tackles. Pringle also recorded six pass breakups and led a secondary that ranked second nationally by allowing only 121.6 passing yards per game while achieving an 85.95 passing efficiency rating on defense. Notably, Grand Valley State set a school record by not allowing any completed passes in two games against Northern Michigan and Harding during the 2024 season.

Grand Valley State concluded their season with an impressive record of 11-2 and made it to the NCAA Division II Playoffs for the fourth consecutive year.
