WXSP-TV, based in Allendale, Michigan, has announced that it will broadcast three Laker basketball doubleheaders this February. The first set of games will be aired on Saturday, February 8th, featuring matchups against Ferris State. The subsequent doubleheaders are scheduled for Saturday, February 22nd against SVSU and Tuesday, February 25th versus Davenport. In each case, the women's game will precede the men's.

The initial women's game against Ferris State is set to begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the men's game at 3:00 PM. This particular matchup holds significance as it showcases the top two teams in the GLIAC women’s standings; GVSU currently boasts a flawless record of 12-0 while Ferris State stands at 9-3. On the men’s side, both teams rank among the top six in their conference with Ferris State positioned third and GVSU sixth.

WXSP-TV acts as the exclusive live in-market television partner for the Lakers' games. As an affiliate of WOOD TV8 and WOTV, WXSP is accessible through all local cable systems and via several low-power channels across regions including Grand Rapids (WOLP channel 27), Holland (WOHO channel 33), Muskegon (WOMS channel 29), Kalamazoo (WOKZ channel 50), and Battle Creek (WOBC channel 14).
