The GVSU women's basketball team is set to face Davenport on Tuesday night at 6:00 PM in the Fieldhouse. This game marks the beginning of the final week of the regular season for the Lakers.

Abrie Cabana contributed five three-pointers for a total of 15 points, Ellie Droste added 14 points, and MacKenzie Bisballe scored 11. In their following game against SVSU, they won decisively with a score of 93-56. Cabana led again with 16 points, while Rylie Bisballe scored her career's 1,500th point among her 12 points in that game.

In their previous encounter in January, GVSU defeated Davenport with a significant margin of 110-51. Six players from GVSU scored in double figures during that match. MacKenzie Bisballe had an impressive performance with 21 points and four blocks. Paige Vanstee achieved a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. The team tied a program record by making 34 assists and shot efficiently throughout the game.

Davenport has faced challenges this season, holding a record of 6-20 overall and 4-14 in league play. They have struggled offensively and defensively within the league. Forward Ellie Toney leads Davenport with an average of 13.4 points per game, while Lilee Gustafson is close to averaging a double-double.
