For the second time in her career, Kaylyn Cater has been recognized as the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week. This accolade follows Grand Valley State University's 16-9 victory against Quincy.

Cater, a senior goalkeeper, played a crucial role in fortifying the Laker defense. The team successfully limited Quincy to nine goals despite their average of over 15 goals per game. During her time on the field, Cater allowed just four goals in the first half. She also recorded three saves, caused two turnovers, and collected two groundballs.
