The NCAA has announced the participants for the 2025 Division II Men's and Women's Swim and Dive Championships, which will be held from March 11 to March 15 at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana. This event is part of the Division II winter sports festival.
Grand Valley State University will send a total of 30 athletes to compete in this prestigious championship. Among them are seven divers: four women—Maddie Kooistra, Macy Polask, Olivia Kutsche, and Emi Goto—and three men: Matthew Blommel, Cory Shade, and Carter Wood. Notably, Maddie Kooistra is returning as the reigning champion in the women's 1-meter dive.
For individual events on the men's side, eight Lakers have been selected or ranked among the top competitors. These athletes include Matt Bosch, Raul Briceno, Aaron Dies, Andrew Goh, Jon Kantzenbach, Esteban Nunez Del Prado, Evan Scotto DiVetta, and Thomas Zoldowski. Additionally participating in relay events are Carsyn Christoffel, Austin Millard, Anton Rauch, and Brennan Neitzel.
On the women's side of individual events competition are Sara Alvarez, Vittoria Proietti, Katie O'Connell, Lucy Hedley, Alysa Wager, Kelly Shortall and Alice Persson. Competing in relays will be Angelica Angilletta Kiersten Harmon Linda Frick Annabelle Nixon.
The championship's daily sessions begin at 10 a.m., running from Tuesday through Saturday. Further details about the event are expected to be released soon.
