The Grand Valley State University (GVSU) women's golf team is preparing to start their spring season at the SMSU Spring Invitational in Arizona. The event will take place over two days, March 10th and 11th, at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park.
The lineup for the Lakers includes Olivia Stoll, Paula Badino, Rachael Krieger, Lea Stotz, and Megan Miron. Additionally, Charlotte Goersch, Julia Sanchez, Evelyn Park, and Lorena Saquicoray will compete as individuals. Notably, Stoll is ranked 10th nationally by Scoreboard, with Goersch at 43rd, Badino at 44th, and Miron at 51st.
During the fall season, the Lakers achieved two victories and secured second place twice. They won titles at both the Gilda's Club Invite and the Bulldog Invite. Individually, Charlotte Goersch claimed an individual title by winning the Gilda's Club Invite. Collectively, the team achieved 19 additional top-10 finishes.
