For the second time this season, Grand Valley State University (GVSU) senior Olivia Stoll has been honored as the GLIAC Women's Golfer of the Week. This recognition follows her recent performance at the SMSU Spring Invitational, where she emerged victorious.
Stoll's rounds of 70 (-2) and 71 (-1) secured her a three-stroke win over the two-day event. Her achievement included making eight birdies, marking her first victory in the 2024-25 campaign. Her success contributed significantly to GVSU's team triumph, with a substantial 21-stroke lead in securing the team title.
"Her win was a key part of a Laker effort to win the team title as well," noted observers of the tournament, highlighting her pivotal role in the team's overall success.
