Following his second victory of the 2024-25 season, Grand Valley State University men's golfer Manuel Cue Vargas has been honored as the GLIAC Golfer of the Week. This marks the second time this season that Cue has received this recognition.

Cue secured a win at the Ralph Hargett Memorial event in North Carolina earlier this week, finishing at nine under par. He recorded rounds of 72 (E), 67 (-5), and 68 (-4) to achieve an individual triumph. During these three rounds, he made 15 birdies and one eagle, contributing to GVSU's third-place finish as a team. Currently, he is ranked 20th in the latest Scoreboard individual rankings.
