The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced the recipients of the 2025 NCAA DII Men's Team Scholar All-America Awards. Grand Valley State University (GVSU) had six wrestlers included in this group. GVSU demonstrated strong performance by securing the second position at the NCAA Super Region 3 tournament and 14th place at the NCAA DII tournament. The team also produced four All-Americans.
Athletes could qualify for the Scholar All-American Team by achieving certain criteria, such as being an All-American at the 2025 NCAA DII National Championships with a 3.00 GPA, being a National Qualifier to the 2025 NCAA DII National Championships with a 3.25 GPA, or having competed in four or more events with a 3.5 GPA.
The six GVSU wrestlers named to the 2025 NWCA Scholar All-American team are Carter Blough, Bradley Mayse, Michael Merrit, Brayden Mirjavadi, Matthew Morris, and Tyler Pressel.
