GVSU women's golf team concludes regular season with strong showing

The GVSU women's golf team concluded the regular season at the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. The team secured 11th place after finishing the tournament with a score of +68 over three rounds.

The top five teams were Ohio State, Michigan State, Kent State, Rutgers, and Indiana. GVSU played rounds of 309, 317, and 326 during the two-day event.

Olivia Stoll was GVSU's leading performer, tying for 20th place at +13. Her final round score was 81 (+9). Teammates Paula Badino, Rachael Krieger, and Julia Sanchez each tied for 49th place with a score of +25. Sanchez achieved a score of 81, including two birdies. Krieger and Badino both scored 82 (+10), with Badino managing to sink a birdie. Lea Stotz completed her final round with a score of 84 (+12).

Looking ahead, GVSU will participate in the GLIAC Championships at Gull Lake beginning on April 24th.
