Grand Valley State University has disclosed its 2025 football schedule, highlighting six home games, including a notable appearance by Saginaw Valley State at Lubbers Stadium, their first since 2022.

The window for season ticket renewals and seat changes opens on April 25, with new season ticket sales beginning on May 1. "GVSU has led the nation in Division II football attendance for 13 consecutive years and set a season ticket record in 2024," states the announcement. As ticket demand remains high, fans are advised to purchase early for better seating options.

The 2025 season will commence with a home game against Lincoln (Pa.) University on August 30. A unique 616 Night match will follow on September 6 when GVSU faces Black Hills State. Another significant match will be an away game against Pittsburg State on September 13.

The team's schedule includes the opening of GLIAC action on September 4 against Davenport University. Other key matchups include a contest in the Upper Peninsula against Northern Michigan on October 11 and the Battle of the Valley's against Saginaw Valley State on October 18, which also marks Kid's Day. Furthermore, the 2025 Athletics Hall of Fame class will be acknowledged at halftime during this game.

The Lakers will travel for back-to-back GLIAC games against Ferris State on October 25 and Wayne State on November 1. The season will conclude at Lubbers Stadium with Homecoming against Michigan Tech on November 15, and Senior Day against Roosevelt on November 18.
