The Grand Valley State men's tennis team has secured a spot in the NCAA Tournament as the top seed in the Midwest Region. The Lakers will host the initial rounds at the GVSU Tennis Courts in Allendale, starting on Friday, May 9th.
In their first-round match of the NCAA Tournament, GVSU will compete against the eighth-seeded Tiffin Dragons. The Lakers ended their regular season with a 16-2 overall record and claimed both the GLIAC regular season championship with an unblemished 7-0 record and the GLIAC Tournament championship by defeating Wayne State 4-0.
Additionally, GVSU will host matches between fourth-seed Rockhurst and fifth-seed Drury. Winners from these matches will meet in the second round in Allendale on Saturday, May 10th at 11:00 AM.
