Rep. Bill Huizenga, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 4th district, shared his views on international and national matters through a series of tweets over the past few days.

On June 17, 2025, Rep. Huizenga expressed his support for Israel amidst tensions with Iran. He stated that "The United States will stand with Israel." He emphasized President Biden's position that Iran must not acquire nuclear weapons and thanked NEWSMAX for providing him the platform to discuss this ongoing conflict.

In a tweet dated June 18, 2025, Rep. Huizenga acknowledged the efforts of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs by stating he was "So thankful for your dedication and care for these men and women who have served our country @SecVetAffairs!" This reflects his appreciation for those dedicated to supporting veterans.

On June 19, 2025, Rep. Huizenga celebrated the enlistment efforts in the U.S. Navy by tweeting "Great news! Thank you to all those who enlisted in the @USNavy to serve our country!" This statement underscores his gratitude towards individuals joining military service.

Bill Huizenga has been a member of Congress since 2011 after replacing Pete Hoekstra and has previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009. Born in Zeeland, Michigan in 1969, he now resides in Holland and holds a BA from Calvin College obtained in 1991.
