Grand Valley State University (GVSU) has announced that season tickets for the 2025 home football schedule are now available. The schedule includes six games, and the university encourages fans to secure their tickets early due to high demand. GVSU has been a leader in Division II football attendance for 13 years, setting a season ticket record in 2024.
The 2025 season will begin at home against Lincoln (Pa.) University on August 30 at 1 p.m. The second game is scheduled for September 6 at 7 p.m., featuring Black Hills State, an opponent GVSU has not faced before. Following this, the Lakers will travel for a national matchup against Pittsburg State on September 13.
GVSU's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) action starts on October 4 against Davenport, with the Family Day game beginning at 4 p.m. A trip to Northern Michigan is planned for October 11.
The Battle of the Valleys will occur in Allendale on October 18, where GVSU will face Saginaw Valley State at 2 p.m. During halftime, the university will honor its Athletics Hall of Fame class following an induction ceremony on October 17.
The Lakers' road games include visits to Ferris State on October 25 and Wayne State on November 1. The final regular-season games will be held at Lubbers Stadium with Michigan Tech visiting for Homecoming on November 8 and Roosevelt coming for Senior Day on November 15.
