Grand Valley State leads Warrior Invitational by six strokes after two rounds

The Grand Valley State women's golf team is leading the Warrior Invitational after the first two rounds at Orchards Golf Course in Washington, Michigan. The team posted scores of 294 and 293 for a total of 587, finishing the day at 11 over par. This performance places them six strokes ahead of Findlay, which sits in second place at 17 over par. Davenport holds third at 34 over, Ferris State is fourth with a score of 38 over, and Northwood rounds out the top five at 48 over.

Individually, Rachael Krieger and June Hsiao are tied for first place at one under par. Krieger recorded rounds of 74 and 69, making ten birdies across both rounds. Hsiao shot a 71 and a 72 with six birdies. Lea Stotz is tied for sixth after shooting rounds of 74 and 75 with five birdies. Charlotte Goersch is tied for eleventh after posting scores of 75 and 77 with four birdies. Heida Rafnsdottir finished her rounds with scores of 76 and 81, totaling three birdies to sit in twenty-sixth place at thirteen over par. Skyler Tierney is tied for forty-sixth after shooting an eighty-two and eighty-three with two birdies.

The final round will begin tomorrow morning.
