Rep. Bill Huizenga, U.S. Congressman representing Michigan’s 4th district since 2011, marked the anniversary of the October 7 terror attack in Israel and commented on U.S. trade relations in a series of posts on October 7 and 8, 2025.
On October 7, Huizenga reflected on the second anniversary of the 2023 attack in Israel, stating, "Today, October 7th, we remember the horrific radical Islamic terror attack against Israel that claimed the lives of over 1,200 innocent people. I’m horrified that two years later, hostages still remain in Hamas captivity. Hamas should fully accept the proposal from President https://t.co/xT5UXYoJAt".
Later that day, Huizenga addressed the importance of U.S. trade relationships, writing, "This is one of, if not THE most important trading relationship we have as a nation. I hope and pray that @POTUS and PM @MarkJCarney are able to make real progress on important issues such as autos and parts, energy, agriculture and lumber. #UStrade https://t.co/Fozvg0ZUKW".
